Venture Capital Secured Ahead of New Year
As we approach the start of 2020, all of us at Yup are incredibly excited to share the recent close of our Pre-Seed investment round! 🎉
To date, we’ve built and maintained all of Yup with less than $5,000 and tightly packed student schedules. Nevertheless, we delivered our beta on Columbia’s campus in early September, shared our story on CoinTelegraph, and remain ranked alongside some of our favorite decentralized applications (top 100 🔥). While we’re proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish so far, we’re now ready to deliver a whole new level of product in 2020. We’ve made some key hires to help us understand our target users and create products they love.
Looking forward, we’re focused on laying the fundamental groundwork that Yup will need to find product-market fit. We will build and test new experiences for Yup users, live and in focus groups. We’re steadily increasing token incentives, putting more bucks in the hands of creators and curators. We’re planning new growth hacking campaigns and on-campus pranks. And we’re collaborating with artists and designers to establish a beautiful and credible brand.
